Creative Critical Reflection 1.    1.  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? Nike is a product that has challenged conventions many times. Some may think this product is just used for people who are athletes and men, as they are used mostly for their advertisements. However, Nike isn’t just limited to these opinions, they aspire to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world. They have also mentioned that anyone is an athlete if they have a body. Nike is focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. To address racial inequality for Black Americans they invested over 10 years to have earned $140 million. They also have a Until We All Win community investment program. Through this they earned $5 million dollars per year going towards nonprofits that work to advance equality in places all throughout North America. They supported many individuals including Asian Americans, Middle East and Pacific Island

Commercial Blog

The commercial blog has finally come to an end. I am very excited to show you what my partner and I created. This is the first major project that I have worked on this year. Looking back at the video I remember all the fun I had. From planning, filming, acting, editing, and picking out the music, every aspect of this project was very fun. I keep looking back at the video and find things that I can improve on. I am very excited to do this in the future again and show some improvements. Filming and acting was more interesting and fun than I thought it would be when I started this project. I am proud of my first production and I know I will improve in the future. Now that we have come to the end of this journey, I hope you enjoy my video!

Final Editing Blog

To start with the second part of filming  my partner and I  started  to search for  NIKE  logos that would look goo d in  the ending scene of the commercial.  She added a NIKE logo to the ending scene that  she thought  fit best with the  video .  W he n she  sent me the finished project with the NIKE logo at the end ,  I reviewed it.  I thought that the commercial looked good in general and that the NIKE logo was a good size. However, as the logo wa s red, I did not think it looked good on the background of the track field.  I suggested that we change it to a black NIKE logo, but we couldn’t find one that  fits  well.  So, we opted  for  just  photoshopping a black NIKE symbol on it.   The next thing that my partner and I had to do was find a   good song  that fits the commercial.  I had to brainstorm a lot for this part because it was hard to find a place t o start searching for songs that were good.   The song had to  be upbeat so that the NIKE shoes  were associated with the feel

Beginning of the editing process

To start with the editing part of my commercial I gathered all of the scenes that were shot. I then sent them all to my partner so she could start the editing process. I do not know too much about editing. So, I do not think I was much help for this part of the project. However, I did help with some things. One thing I did help out with a lot was reviewing her edits. Another thing I did was pick out which clips should be used for the final commercial with my partner. While my partner was editing I commented on some things that needed a little work. I told her when some scenes needed to be sped up or slowed down. I also let her know when some of the edits she made did not turn out well. If so then it would need to be edited again. After she finished the first try of editing, I went over the commercial that was made so far. I pointed out some things that were a little rough, that needed cleaning up. I also added some suggestions. For example, I commented on things I thought needed to be
