Storyboard For My Music Video

 Slide 1:  

In this slide, we will be in the car, focusing on the radio system. We will show us turning up the volume on the radio. This will be a close-up shot. 

Slide 2: 

In this slide, we pan down from the first slide, to show a phone playing our song “Cheap Thrills” on an open tab on the application Spotify. The date will say Friday because that is what the song says. This is an extreme close up. 

Slide 3: 

In this slide, we will have a wide shot of all 3 of us getting ready and doing our hair and makeup, as that is what the song lyrics are saying. We will be wearing formal clothing. This will be a 3 shot. 

Slide 4: 

In this slide, we will be showing a close up as the result of a zoom-in. We will be showing a cell phone with a text message reading “See u at the club tonight?” in which we will send a response text “Wouldn’t miss it!” Then resume getting ready. 

Slide 5: 

In this slide, after we have finished getting ready, we will show an over-the-shoulder shot of one of our phones with a bank account application on the screen, reading a balance of $0.39. Since we have no money, we can no longer go out to the club. 

Slide 6: 

In this slide, we will use a clever editing transition to us in more comfortable clothing and less makeup. The outfit will most likely be a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants or something similar. 

Slide 7: 

In this slide, we will be using an over the shoulder shot as we arrive at Publix and drive into the parking lot. We will then have an eye level shot of the car from the front when it is parked 

 

Slide 8: 

In this slide, we will show us in the chips isle picking out chips, the camera will follow us in a tracking shot. We will then be at the cash register and show the price of the chips. 

 

Slide 9: 

In this slide, we will have an eye level shot as we are once again in the car driving to the beach at sunset. This is a medium long shot. 

 

Slide 10: 

In this slide, we have arrived at the beach, and we will be setting up our picnic blanket and foods from a high angle. 

 

Slide 11: 

In this slide, we will show a wide shot at a high angle of us eating our picnic foods. This will be edited in a montage-style. 

 

Slide 12: 

In this final slide, we will have a long shot of our silhouettes dancing in the sunset, having fun. The camera will freeze on a picture of us dancing, then fade out.
