Finally we have come to the last project of the year. I will be talking about my group for the opening sequence of an original film. My group is pretty small consisting of just 2 people. I chose Aja M as my partner. I chose Aja because she has been my friend since 7th grade. Also, we worked on multiple projects together, so I know that she is a reliable person. We worked on all of the projects assigned to us this year together, including the commercial project and the music video project. I trust her a lot and I know that she is a very smart individual. We both can bring unique perspectives to this project. I can bring a lot of creativity and artistry to this project, while she contributes a lot of technological skills. She is also certified in Microsoft word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel. This will help a lot with the editing for the commercial. To start off with this project, I will make a storyboard. Aja and I will both pitch ideas, and then I will draw out the storyboard. We will both work on the filming, acting, and directing portion of this project equally. When we finish filming all the clips, Aja will edit the video and I will help in any way I can to make it better. Once she presents the video to me, I will give her some critiques to help make the video better. I believe this project will turn out very well. Aja and I work very well in group projects together. We are both very like minded but we can both contribute very important things to this film. Thank you for reading along with me and I'll see you next time!

 After all the filming, and editing was done, it was time to start the next step. The entire opening sequence was done. All the scenes were but in order and the music was added. Lastly, the titles were set to appear on the final product. The next part was to find someone to review the video to critique it. A couple of people were asked as I thought it would be a good idea to get multiple people's opinions on it. My partner and I both agreed to interview different people and the take all of their critiques and fix the opening sequence to be great. The first person I asked was my friend Cece. I asked her to first watch the entire opening sequence first and then after go through it slowly to say what she liked and didn't like. The first thing that she said could have used some improvement was the acting. However, this obviously could not be altered as it would need to be re-filmed. Filming is a Wrap!

 On Saturday December 4th filming was finished. Once again there was a lot of difficulties with the schedules so it was hard to find a good day to film. As a group it was decided that filming would take place on Saturday morning. The first couple of scenes that would be filmed were at Aja's house. My group and I chose to film at her house because it was convenient since all of us knew where she lived. The first thing that had to be done was choosing the type of fancy clothing that had to be worn in the beginning. This was difficult since none of the group members had fancy attire. However, the group members and I came to the conclusion to wear black clothing. This would range from black jeans, to a black dresses. The next scene was of the group getting ready in the mirror (for going out to a club). The makeup was more on the dramatic side. Final Day of Filming Blog

  On Thursday,  November  the 30th I finished filming with my partner. This time I just came to school in NIKE shorts, NIKE shoes, and a normal T-shirt because we were only filming my legs as I was running. The filming took place at the track field again. Also, my phone was used to film all the content for this commercial. I acted in all the scenes my partner filmed today. The first scene that was filled was a tracking shot of me running. This scene was really difficult  to film. Since my partner had to follow me with the camera as I was running, the shot was extra hard to shoot. I had to match my speed with hers so that I would stay in frame. This scene was one that was re-filmed the most. The last scene was also really difficult  to film. I don't think this one turned out as well as my partner and I thought it would. However, I think it wrapped up the commercial pretty well .
